Consider the Theme

First thing you should keep in mind is your special day theme, the style which you already have decided for the event and all things revolve around that basic theme. i.e whether its romantic theme, classic, Something Traditional, an oldies theme etc. There are number of bands to hire who are professional in their music styles, you can hire the that band which gives a perfect match with your wedding day theme.

Consider the size of your guests

Second thing is the size of your guest and size of the venue. If you have small gathering at small venue, then there should be light music and if you have large venue with a huge gathering the music setting would be different.
